Dr Arun Jagdeo, a resident at the University of British Columbia, was presented with the 2013 Kristin Sivertz Resident Leadership Award at the International Conference on Residency Education (ICRE) in September. The award, presented to two winners, recognizes leaders in specialty education.Â
Dr Jagdeo is vice president of the Professional Association of Residents of British Columbia and has also served as an observer on the organization’s board of directors. He was honored for his leadership in the resident community at UBC.
