UBC Medicine Spring Gala 2024: You’re invited!

The UBC Medicine Spring Gala is a yearly celebration of the visual and performing arts, where UBC medical students from all 4 years come together to showcase their talents and passions from outside medicine. It is a beloved event that brings together the medical community, and promotes connection, healing, and shared appreciation of creative expression.

Spring Gala 2024 is once again in person! The show will take place at the Chan Centre on Saturday, 20 April, at 7 p.m., featuring performances including instrumentalists, vocalists, and dancers, all from a variety of styles and genres. It will also feature an art show of incredible works created by medical students and alumni for the audience to view before, during, or after the show.

In the continued spirit of the gala, all proceeds will go to Canuck Place Children’s Hospice. Canuck Place is a caring, innovative children’s hospice and community-based service that fully embraces the life of each child and family. They are leaders in improving pediatric palliative care regionally, nationally, and internationally through collaboration, education, and research.

A performance isn’t complete without an audience. Students, alumni, friends and family, and other members of the medical community are an essential part of this celebration every year. UBC medical students would be honored to have your support and attendance!

Tickets for the show ($20) can be purchased at UBC Tickets.
