People affected by cancer and those who work to control the disease now have a single online place to access Canada’s leading cancer resources and services and to connect with each other. Cancer View Canada, a new online community that can be found at www.cancerview.ca, is the work of the Canadian Partnership Against Cancer in collaboration with a network of regional and national partners, including the Canadian Cancer Society.
Given that as many as one in two Canadians with cancer search for cancer information online, and that a simple search of cancer in Canada can generate millions of results, how can patients find relevant and trustworthy information?
Cancer View Canada offers a central place for Canadians who work in the cancer community to connect, collaborate, and exchange information. The site also helps Canadians cut through the clutter by acting as a gateway to leading online cancer resources and tools to make information more usable.
