Preceptorship Training
Preceptorship training for rural family physicians is a program developed by the BC Cancer Agency, with the support of the UBC Enhanced Skills Program, to help family physicians strengthen their oncology skills and the potential to act as a resource for their family practice colleagues.
This 8-week course starts with a 2-week module which takes place at the BC Cancer Agency in Vancouver. Participants who complete the program are eligible for MainPro C CME credits. Participating physicians may also apply to the UBC Enhanced Skills Program for support including a salary and coverage for travel and accommodation expenses.
