Addictions Conference

Edgewood Treatment Center presents “New Perspectives,” a 3-day conference on addiction medicine to be held at the new Vancouver Island Conference Center in Nanaimo. 

This conference will be of interest to medical health professionals wishing to learn more about the disease of addiction. Keynote Speaker, Carlton Erickson, PhD, published author and leading expert on addiction science education from the University of Texas, will speak on the neurobiology of addiction. 

Also offered, intervention training seminars by intervention specialists Heather Hayes and Bill Maher; both AIS certified top educators and presenters in their field. 

Additional presentations from these professionals in the field of addiction will be offered as well: Dr Andrew Saxon, Dr Bayla Schecter, Dr Keith Phillips, Dr Merville Vincent, and Dr Gary Richardson.
