2009 Winter Escape Emergency Medicine Update

Our four faculty members invite you to attend a premier CME opportunity and a truly unique educational experience. Up to 21.5 hours of Mainpro-M1 CME credits accredited by the BCCFP. 

Conference venue: the relaxed Yellow Cedar Lodge, home to Northern Escape Heli-Skiing and set within the Skeena Mountain Range; a two hour Air Canada flight north from Vancouver.
 
Curriculum developed to provide physicians with a therapeutic update in emergency medicine. 

Topics include critical care in the emergency department, new concepts in emergency orthopedics, arrhythmia management and procedural sedation/regional anaesthesia techniques. Includes an avalanche simulation where physicians will be working in the field with trained mountain guides extricating and treating "victims."
